What is this document intended for?
It is placed underneath the tatami mats. The manufacturer recommends it especially for hard floors such as concrete or tile, where the mats would otherwise rest directly on the subfloor.
How many plates do I need?
Each panel covers 2 m² (200 × 100 cm). The minimum order quantity is 10 panels, or 20 m². We'll calculate the number of panels needed for your space in the quote.
What will the total area be?
The underlay adds 2 or 3 cm to the thickness of your tatami. For 4-cm mats, that makes for a total thickness of 6 or 7 cm; for 5-cm mats, 7 or 8 cm.
Is there a standard or a fire resistance rating for the underlayment?
