Is the bottom surface non-slip?
No, this version has a smooth underside without a non-slip coating. If the tiles are to be placed individually or on a smooth floor, choose the version with a non-slip polypropylene underside.
What does EN 12503 mean in relation to this mat?
EN 12503 is the European standard for sports mats. The manufacturer states that the Tatami meets this standard; we do not have a test certificate for this model. We have requested one.
What is the minimum number of plates I have to order?
The manufacturer's minimum order quantity is 10 panels. For this size, that amounts to exactly 10 m² of surface area.
Are there other densities?
The standard density is 230 kg/m³. Upon request, the manufacturer also produces "Junior" with a density of 200–210 kg/m³ and "Olympic" with a density of 270–280 kg/m³. Please specify the desired density in your request.
